What does a Corsair engagement include?

Updated

An engagement can include a website, a custom web application, integrations, software architecture, technical product leadership, and marketing such as search and email. People in the United States do the work, and we price the work as a cycle or a fixed price. The principal who sells you the project is an experienced developer, and that person oversees the work. We do not sell a project and send the implementation offshore.

Call us at (540) 751-8566, or start a project.

Marketing work includes search engine optimization, email, and related programs with reporting a client can read. Engineering work includes custom applications, the integrations that move data between systems, cloud and DevOps, and staying on after launch when a client wants ongoing operations.

Mainframe and legacy systems are in scope when the engagement needs them, including IBM DB2, COBOL, and JCL. The work may be an integration with a modern system, a phased migration, or ongoing support.

We scope reliability and the boundary of the system before we build. We recommend AI when it improves a measured outcome. We do not recommend AI tooling for its own sake.

Pricing starts from the planning ranges on the pricing page. A small website is Web Design, Focused scope, and 1 month on that calculator. The ranges shown when the page first loads are a 3-month standard software engineering build, and they are not the price of a small website. The estimate is the number we agree after the scope is clear.
