How we price work

We work in cycles or at a fixed price, depending on scope and how you prefer to fund the work. Every dollar in the planning ranges below is for a US-based team with principal involvement — not a domestic sales front over offshore delivery.

The iron triangle · Pick two

You can have it good and fast — but it won’t be cheap.

Full team, full scope, delivered on the timeline you need. That level of coverage is priced accordingly — and still cheaper than rebuilding work that was done poorly the first time.

Estimate a project

See how scope turns into cost

Set the kind of work, the size of the scope, and the timeline. The calculator shows a planning range across three engagement styles. Every range already includes project management, QA, analysis, and onboarding — and assumes a US-based team with a principal involved, not a lower-cost offshore bench behind a US-facing brand.

These figures are planning ranges, not a fixed rate card. Your estimate after we agree on scope is the real number. If a shop quotes far below these bands while promising the same senior, US-facing experience, ask who actually writes the work and where it is performed.

Lean Engagement

A tightly scoped engagement on a standard timeline, with one workstream moving at a time. Full staffing, a narrower footprint.

Estimated range

$27,600$32,400

$10,000 / month for 3 months

Standard Engagement

Our default pace: parallel workstreams where useful, full project management and QA coverage, and a standard delivery timeline.

Estimated range

$34,500$40,500

$12,500 / month for 3 months

Priority Engagement

A dedicated team, a compressed timeline, and expanded QA and review cycles for work that cannot wait.

Estimated range

$46,600$54,700

$16,900 / month for 3 months

These are planning ranges built from real US-based engagements, not a quote and not an offshore-discounted rate card. Every project is scoped individually before we put a number on it. Request an estimate and we will price your actual scope — with principal involvement and no offshore handoff.

Staffing · Delivery · Trust

We never offshore your engagement

The work done on your engagement always involves a principal. Your data, IP, and day-to-day collaboration stay with a US-based team. We are not a domestic sales layer that books the deal and then ships the work overseas while keeping the margin.

We also take a simple position: when it is possible to put skilled work in the hands of our neighbors, we do. Peace of mind for clients — and real opportunity here — matters more to us than extracting the last dollar out of a middleman model.

No onshore sales, offshore delivery

Some firms book you with a domestic team, then hand the real work to an offshore bench. You end up talking through a middle layer that did not write the code, run the campaign, or own the outcome. We do not run that model. The people you meet are the people who do the work.

Telephone games cost more than they save

When requirements bounce between time zones and intermediaries, small questions turn into multi-day delays. Timelines stretch. Quality drops. The promised cost savings often shrink to nothing once rework and wait time are counted. Direct principal-led delivery keeps the path short.

Offshoring only works as a permanent shop

A global workforce can make sense when you build and manage a real offshore capability of your own. What rarely works is renting a rotating offshore pool behind a US-facing brand. That setup optimizes for margin, not for your product, your data, or your timeline.

AI changed the junior economics

A generation ago, shipping volume overseas bought capacity on lower-level tasks. Today a lot of that work is assisted by tools, and junior roles look more like apprenticeships under seniors than pure headcount. Paying for an offshore relay on top of that is rarely worth it.

Common industry pattern

Book onshore. Build offshore.

  • Discovery and sales with a domestic face
  • Delivery handed to an offshore team you never hired
  • Feedback loops measured in days, not hours
  • Little or no real gain on cost or timeline once rework lands

How Corsair runs

Book with us. Work with us.

  • Principal involvement on every engagement
  • 100% US-based labor — no offshore substitutes
  • Direct path from your decisions to the people building
  • Your data, work, and IP stay with the team you paid

There may have been clearer advantages to a loosely coordinated global workforce twenty years ago. Today, offshoring tends to work well only when you are investing in a permanent offshore operation of your own. For project-based delivery sold as a senior US partnership, the middleman model rarely delivers a substantially lower cost or a tighter timeline — and it often delivers neither.

How cycles work

A cycle is a defined scope of work with a clear start and finish. You fund and approve each cycle before it begins. Different cycle types cover different kinds of work; they can run independently or in parallel. Whatever the cycle, staffing stays US-based and principal-led.

Web Content Cycle

Create or improve website content and analyze site data to measure what is working and where the next improvement should focus.

Social Content Cycle

Create or improve social posts and review social metrics so every piece of content is informed by what the audience has already responded to.

Email Content Cycle

Create or improve email campaigns and review email reporting to refine messaging, timing, and audience segmentation over time.

Technology Cycle

Development work such as new features, library updates, or infrastructure changes that move the product forward in a defined, reviewable scope.

Maintenance Cycle

This cycle usually runs on a recurring basis, so that we review the data, monitor for issues, and recommend the next prioritized actions before problems compound.

Discovery Cycle

A scoped planning engagement to define requirements, architecture, and sequencing before build work begins, so execution starts with a clear map.

One team, one scope

Every cycle, regardless of type, is backed by US-based staff. There are no offshore substitutes and no handoffs to a subcontractor your team has not met. The people who plan the work are the people who do the work — with a principal involved throughout the engagement.

Engineering and marketing cycles can run in parallel when the program calls for it. If your situation requires a new feature and a campaign to support its launch, both efforts can be scoped and executed by the same team on the same timeline, without a translation layer between disciplines or continents.

The engagement can be structured as one statement of work that covers an entire program, or as sequential cycles that allow you to fund and approve work in stages. We will outline both options in plain language so you can choose the structure that works best for your team and budget.

Principal involvement on every engagement
100% US-based labor — no offshore substitutes
Scope agreed before work begins
Engineering and marketing can run in parallel
Sequential or program-level funding available
Your data, work, and IP stay with the team you paid
